STARTING @ LADY HAWKINS’ SCHOOL

What to Expect

Lady Hawkins’ School is a school with a long, proud history. We are very well equipped to prepare young people for life in the twenty-first century, working to combine modern developments with the best of tradition.

Our size makes it possible for the whole staff to get to know students as individuals and make their personal happiness, care and development a key priority. Our warm, friendly environment provides students of all backgrounds and abilities with the opportunity to work to their full potential.

We are proud of our examination results, which show good added value, but we believe that education is about more than examination results so we prize development of the whole individual. Our curriculum is designed to be broad and balanced with full national curriculum coverage with a range of academic and vocational options at Key Stage 4.

The School is very lucky to be set in beautiful grounds with an Eco Classroom, plus all-weather outdoor Tennis Courts and Multi Use Games Area for the school and the community.

School Transport

Some traditional catchment areas have changed.

If you would like your child to attend Lady Hawkins’ but don’t think Herefordshire Council will provide free transport please contact the school on 01544 230 441 as we may be able to offer you a free bus pass for school.

School Uniform

Clubsport are our uniform provider.  They are operating slightly differently this year, encouraging online sales to allow for social distancing or offering an appointments system to try on uniform in the shop.

Clubsport Online Uniform Shop

If you need financial assistance buying school uniform please contact the school and we may be able to help.
