Teacher of English

The Governors of Lady Hawkins’ School, which was recognised by OFSTED in January 2018 as a Good school, are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of English to join a vibrant faculty where teachers are committed to developing learning strategies which challenge and interest all of our students.

This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist who is newly qualified or for a more experienced teacher to deliver English at KS3 & KS4.

Teacher of Maths

Full time to cover a staff absence from 6th January until 30th June 2020

The Lady Hawkins’ Maths Department is led by an energetic and inspirational practitioner, who is highly motivated to create an environment which inspires and challenges all of our students and staff.

We are looking to appoint a driven and innovative specialist with capacity to teach at KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be passionate about guiding students to make better than expected progress, whilst also contributing to departmental and whole school priorities.

The Department is working on a mastery programme providing pupils with a deep, long-term, secure and adaptable understanding of the subject. The successful candidate will support this with a pupil led focus in their teaching. It will also provide them with opportunities to work collaboratively, developing their own mastery knowledge through departmental projects.

We would welcome applications from individuals who feel they could contribute exciting lessons and ideas, as well as a commitment to developing growth mindset and resilience in our students.
