We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Spanish to join our supportive and forward thinking team. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an early career teacher looking to develop their practice in a school where professional growth is actively encouraged.

The successful candidate will:

  • be able to teach Spanish up to and including GCSE level.
  • play an active role in the wider life of the department.

Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

30 hours per week

05HC £25,989 – £28,142 (£17,666 – £19,130 pro rata)

We are looking for an additional Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the curriculum and enable them to fully access learning and participate in school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive working relationships with pupils
  • Provide support within the classroom and wider school environment
  • Support engagement with learning activities, adapting tasks where necessary
  • Work closely with pupils, other teaching assistants, teaching staff, the SENCo, and external professionals
  • Lead a coaching circle of ten pupils twice a week (full training will be provided)
  • Run clubs and interventions as required
  • Be flexible in supporting the wider school, including supervising or covering lessons if required

  • Flexible and willing to respond to changing daily demands
  • Willingness to undertake training

Teaching Assistant (SEN Level 3)

1:1 Support – Personal Care & Physical Needs

30 hours per week

06HC £28,142 – £32,061 (pro rata £19,130 – £21,794)

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support an 11-year-old male pupil with physical needs from September 2026. This role includes supporting physiotherapy programmes and personal care, enabling the pupil to fully access learning and participate in school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive working relationships with pupils
  • Provide support within the classroom and wider school environment
  • Support the pupil in following a daily physiotherapy programme (full training will be provided)
  • Assist with mobility and physical positioning as required
  • Provide personal and intimate care, following strict safeguarding procedures and ensuring all care is delivered with respect, privacy, sensitivity, and a focus on promoting independence.
  • Support engagement with learning activities, adapting tasks where necessary
  • Work closely with pupils, other teaching assistants, teaching staff, the SENCo, and external professionals
  • Lead a coaching circle of ten pupils twice a week (full training will be provided)
  • Run clubs and interventions as required
  • Be flexible in supporting the wider school, including supervising or covering lessons if required

Experience (Desirable)

  • Experience working with children with physical or additional needs
  • Experience supporting physiotherapy or medical routines
  • Experience providing personal care

Additional Information

This role involves personal and intimate care. The successful candidate will be expected to follow strict safeguarding, health and safety, and dignity protocols at all times. Training will be provided where needed.

The pupil is a valued member of the school community and benefits from consistent support, positive relationships, and encouragement to develop independence.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

Hours 

8.40pm – 3.40pm Monday-Friday, term time only.
