Teaching Assistant (Casual)
HC3 £24,796 – £25,185 pro rata (£12.85 – £13.05 per hour)
We are looking to appoint a Casual Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This flexible role would suit someone who enjoys working with young people and is keen to make a positive difference in the classroom.
As a Casual Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students across a range of subjects, helping them to engage with learning, build confidence and achieve their best. You may work one-to-one or with small groups, under the guidance of class teachers and our SEND team.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is kind, patient and genuinely enjoys working with children
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff
- Is reliable, adaptable and willing to learn
- Has good communication skills
Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Teaching Assistant with PE Support
HC5/6 £25,989 – £32,061 pro rata
Lady Hawkins’ School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team, with part of the role involving support in PE lessons and sporting activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people both in the classroom and in active settings. You will help students to engage in learning across a range of subjects, while also playing a key role in promoting participation, teamwork and confidence during PE.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting teaching and learning in classrooms across different subjects
• Assisting in PE lessons, helping to set up equipment and supervise activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour, teamwork and resilience
• Working one to one or with small groups under the direction of the class teacher and SEND team
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring, patient and committed to helping students succeed
- Has an interest in sport, physical activity or coaching
- Can build positive relationships with young people
- Is reliable, adaptable and able to work as part of a team
Experience working with young people and/or in sport is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Minibus Driver (Casual)
HC3 £24,796 – £25,185 pro rata (£12.85 – £13.05 per hour)
Lady Hawkins’ School is seeking a reliable and friendly minibus driver to join our team. Hours will be mostly before school and up to a maximum of 8 per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the school minibus on designated routes to safely transport students to school in the morning.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and operated in line with school and legal requirements.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and students to provide a welcoming and professional service.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Full, clean driving licence (with D1 entitlement preferred).
- Experience of driving larger vehicles desirable, but training can be provided.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of young people.
Experience working with young people and/or in sport is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
